  • Restrict Maintenance

Restricting a report becomes necessary from time to time because of one reason or another. Completing this task using our Restrict Maintenance Module in RMS Manager is quick and easy to do. For your convenience, in versions 17.7 or higher , we have added a red colored “Restricted” case indicator on the header in the upper right hand corner on Case, Supplement, FI, Citation, Parking, and Trespass reports. This same module can also be used to unrestrict a report. Restricting or unrestricting a report in RMS2 is super simple. Please explore this video and I'll show you how.

  • Merging Two Names

It’s very easy to merge two name records together using our MIS Manager. A match to an existing name is made if both carry the same name, sex, birth date and one other identifying number. Identifying numbers are checked in this order: FBI Number, State ID Number, Local ID Number, Social Security Number, and Driver's License Number. Failure to match on a number--even if names match--causes the name to be added which could cause duplicate records. It is a very common mistake to enter a wrong date of birth or misspell a person’s name. Another common mistake is misspelling the name of a business or not entering the name completely. All of these will cause duplicate MNI records. Managing and combining names in RMS2 is super simple. Please explore this video and I'll show you how.

  • RMS Dashboard Management

Maintaining a clear dashboard “Action List” in RMS is important for a number of reasons. First off, a well-organized action list allows users to quickly view, group, sort and access reports requiring attention without wading through an extensive list. Secondly, it improves overall system performance. Since the Workflow manager is processing all unresolved and posted actions, the longer list becomes – the more processing is required. Managing the Items on a user action list in RMS2 is super simple. Please explore this video and I'll show you how.

  • JMS Inmate Key Image Management

The “Key” image in JMS represents the primary image displayed on every screen AND the image that is published to the systems Master Name Index (MNI). When using the live capture option, the system automatically sets the first frontal view as the “Key” image. However, system users can set any image in the inmate’s collection to be the primary (“Key”) image. Managing the inmate's primary photograph in JMS is super simple. Please explore this video and I'll show you how.
