Comprehensive, secure data collection and investigative tracking capabilities are an integral part of the PS.NET/SI system. Special investigation officers mainting their own separate and secure database while having access to all information housed in the RMS. The PS.NET/SI provides system wide linking of related information, so once entered the data is available for linking with other system entities.

PS.NET/SI Special Investigations provides a fully integrated entity diagramming tool, data relationships can be visualized on command, quickly revealing links between perpetrators, events, vehicles, property and related elements.  This key feature of the Special Investigations program is built upon the applications ability to link any items within the system and to define the associated link relationship. For example, names can be linked to organizations, weapons, and activities.  Further, relationships can be dynamically graphed for easy visualization. This provides a tremendous aid to investigators who historically have done this manually on major investigators..

Linked Information
PS.NET/SI incorporates central master indexes for names, vehicles, weapons, organizations and activities. These indexes provide the system linkages to tie all investigative information togeter, and additionally they greatly facilitate searches in the system and speed data collection by automatically populating key fields in input modules. The Name or member data supports investigative alerts and automatically maintains address, alias, phone number, and other identification histories on individuals.
