PS.NET/Advanced Mapping provides the power to visualize and understand the tactical environment. The PS.NET/Advanced Mapping component provides visually meaningful information about the event location, including street names, buildings, public landmarks, police beats, and fire/EMS response zones as they relate to the field units. Relevant layers can be enabled to display event support information, such as building layers, water access points, etc. PS.NET/Advanced Mapping is fully integrated with other system modules and significantly extends the PS.NET/CAD, geoFile and AVL capabilities. With mapping enabled the agency can pinpoint call locations, monitor units and provide critical information when needed. |
