| Total Solution Service entry, attempt tracking, calculated service fees and comprehensive financial account management are an integral part of the PS.NET/Civil application. Agency personnel have access to all information housed in the Civil and extended access into master indexes, Jail and mapping application. Each Civil Process is tracked individually by a system assigned unique number for each process entered into the system, with all relevant information, including detailed name information, process type, court information, relevant dates, fee components and unlimited comments. The process is linked to a service and all associated information is automatically carried over into the service tracking components. The PS.NET/Civil provides system wide linking of related information, so once entered the data is available for use in other system modules. User-Friendly Graphical User Interface Menus, windows, colors, highlights, and other display features are incorporated to provide a new level of utility and ease-of-use. The PS.NET/Civil is a Microsoft Windows-based system specifically designed with the law enforcement professional in mind. Familiar “fill-in-the-blank” forms mimic existing and familiar documents. PS.NET/Civil utilizes the Windows environment to provide a familiar user-friendly interface. PS.NET/Civil has been designed from the ground up to be tailored to user requirements. Extensive use of tables and configuration parameters permits customization of screen formats and operational features to the unique operational requirements of each agency. Code tables and descriptors are entirely user definable. The system incorporates both on-line error checking and on-line help with automatic code table look-up. The system is designed to provide complete data collection and civil management and improve operational efficiency. This system includes full service processing & tracking capabilities, financial transaction management, and support for sales. The Civil Process module allows agencies to track the receipt, service, and return of service for all types of civil processes managed by law enforcement. It also enables personnel to print service worksheets, returns, and statements of process from a civil process record. PS.NET/Civil is integrated with the suite of PS.NET applications, and fully supports a operations with the common master system index’s. With the inclusion of the PS.NET/Advanced Mapping applications the Agency can benefit from integration with the EIS Map Application Server for location verification and lookup. | Master File Approach PS.NET/Civil provides a truly integrated data set by utilizing the PS.NET central master indexes for names and locations. The system collects all record information and automatically establishes links between related records. Once entered in the system, data can be linked to any new events in any system module, and accessed from any other PS.NET module. System subject and location alerts are fully accessible. Electronic Service Management The PS.NET system provides an extensible services management and real-time tracking capability that manages activities and history of attempts to serve a civil process, including unsuccessful service attempts. The system features a WEB based direct service inquiry and status updating from fielded devices and incorporates a real-time electronic return feature that will immediately notify by fax or e-mail the appropriate parties once the process has been served. Service status information can be accessed and updated via mobile digital equipment, wireless PDA’s and smart phones. Integrated Mapping and Address GeoCoding With the inclusion of the PS.NET advanced Mapping application, the system can provide accurate service information and speed the assignment of processes to the field. Service addresses are validated using the integrated geoCoding, civil response assignment zones can be displayed. Full Service Financial Accounting Includes a full service Civil accounting capability to track all monies, fees and service charges associated with any process. The system will ensure accurate credit/debit accounting with a built-in on demand audit capability, and automatic service fees and mileage calculations. The system generates receipts for monies received, checks for accounts payable and system debits, and a set of summary details. Civil entry and modification are time and date stamped and linked to the authorized operator. Management and Operational Reporting PS.NET is supplied with an extensive and flexible suite of reporting capabilities supporting standard and ad-hoc reports. The system ships with a set of standard Civil reports designed to provide management and operations personnel with comprehensive information on department operations and process activities. These reports can be run on demand or generated automatically by the system at predefined intervals. Source Document Reproduction PS.NET/Civil is designed to capture all of the information usually contained in typical Departmental records and source documents. This information can be displayed and reprinted on demand. This can dramatically reduce or eliminate paperwork within the Department. It makes information readily accessible from inexpensive PC's that can be located throughout the Department. Report approval and case assignment and tracking can be done entirely on-line.
