Job Description:

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Software Development team.  EIS has an immediate opening for a .NET / VB.NET Developer with 2+ years experience on our Public Safety software development team.  This position will require intimate knowledge of the .NET development platform and modern communications architecture.  This position will be a part of a 5 person development team and requires excellent communications skills.

   Technical Job Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with "energy and enthusiasm”.  A Bachelor's degree is preferred with at least two-three recent years applications development experience in the Microsoft environment including design, coding, testing, and implementation.  Additional requirements include the following experiences:
Functional experience in object oriented software development using Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET development in VB.NET or related programming language, Web development in ASP.NET (including CSS, DHTML, Javascript), XML Database development with ADO.NET against SQL Server 2005, Web Services, Class design, Source control.
Candidates must be detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal direction working with a technical team leader.
Responsible for coding to design specifications and requirements, including the design, coding, testing and debugging application.
Must be able to produce efficient, clean, well-commented code and be able to produce detailed application design and deployment procedural documentation.
ͼ Familiarity with software deployment generation including;
   InstallShield, MSDN, MFC, and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe
   environments.
ͼ Experience using a Client/Server model of distributed software
   programming and network Programming experience using
   Windows Sockets and TCP/IP communications.
ͼ Work as part of a development team that is responsible for the
   full lifecycle development of the product.
ͼ Microsoft certification is a plus.
ͼ Experience with modern Public Safety (Police, Dispatch,
   Sheriff, Fire or EMS) operations a plus.
ͼ Direct experience with development using ASP.NET, WCF
   technologies beneficial.

Education:
Bachelor degree in a technical discipline or equivalent technical experience which should include 2-4 years related technical experience. A minimum of 2 years development experience will be considered
