| True Multi-Agency Distributed Operation PS.NET/CAD includes support for multi-agency regional operations or larger agencies with separate communications centers. The system features flexible agency-defined response protocols and run cards. Incident transfers and other transactions occur transparently. Agency activity and case numbers are managed separately. Mobile digital communications, State gateways and other services can be shared. Regional and Multi-Center Operations PS.NET/CAD is one of the first CAD systems designed to support multi-center operations. The system can be configured so that multi-center operations can share data and coordinate activities. It also allows individual centers to be shut-down and activities transferred to the remaining operational centers. Multi-center operations are applicable to larger agencies that have multiple communications operations and regional agencies that have the requirement to share data or propagate information on major incidents; such as along a mjor highway corridor. Multi-center operations allow operators to duplicate events for remote agencies, share common information such as be-on-the-lookout notices, and route administrative messages. These activities can be done as easily for remote operations as within a single center. Case Number Management PS.NET/CAD is capable of managing case number assignment for each configured agency. Case numbers can be individually formatted and assigned for each agency using configurable critera.
